This week went smoothly. We hired a new editorial assistant named FJ Hartland. Welcome FJ to the Out family.
My co-host, David Stanton and I shot another episode of Out Takes on Wednesday. It went pretty well. The show has lots of information including upcoming Halloween events around the city. You can catch the show on OTV on www.outonline.com in rotation. Don’t forget to support our advertisers and sponsors.
Also this week, we taped another Talk it Out show. The show contains an interesting interview with pop singer Isaac Angel from San Francisco. His website is http://www.isaacangel.com/
Very interesting guy. He is looking for gigs in the ‘Burgh. He reminded CA residents to VOTE NO TO PROP 8! Don’t worry. If you missed the live show, you can listen to it or any past episode on www.outonline.com.
Wednesday was my ad deadline for the November issue of Out. You know that means? Tons of paper work. Ask me…I enjoy it. It is at that time of the month that I get to chat with the bar owners and many other advertisers. Many of them have become very good friends.
I decided to pick up dinner for the family on my way home. My first thought was healthy food, but I succumb to my taste buds that desired chicken. Real Chicken, not that under 21 stuff. Remember, I am happily married to a stud. :-)
East suburbs bound, I jumped off the parkway east onto Rt 22 in Monroeville and let my taste buds guide to junk food hell. You may call it Popeye’s… I call notKY fried. Unfortunately, I should have followed my good senses and did the KY thing…again.
It seems Subway was the true winner in our hour this week. Subway is great when you are busy and on the go. The price is right and after eating there a few times you start to look like Jerad!

Confession: I think I would rather look like the guy to the right of Jerad. No offense.
Ed made a beef roast Thursday evening. You need some beef some days, don’t you?
This morning Ed was so excited because his birds have now laid five eggs! I cannot believe how excited he gets. It is so cute!
Writing this blog has made me so hungry. I wonder what’s for dinner tonight?
Have a beautiful weekend!
Tony
